The ratings for The Secret Circle season 1 episode 5 Slither are in. They are slightly down from last weeks numbers to 1.83 million but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about an the great thing is the show has already received an order for the first full season.

The Secret Circle ratings dropped slightly this week from 2.12 million viewers to 2 million viewers for episode 4 of The Secret Circle Heather. It’s still early days for The Secret Circle and it does face a lot of competition in the form of X Factor.

The Secret Circle ratings stayed steady at 2.12 million viewers for episode 3 called Loner. This is good news as The Secret Circle was able to hang in to most of it’s lead in audience from The Vampire Diaries.
The Secret Circle season 1 episode 2 Bound ratings fell by almost a third this week to 2.12 million viewers. Although this is a huge fall in viewing figures there is no need to panic yet. The main reason for the drop in ratings might be because there were a lot of new shows released in that slot on other networks. CBS aired The Person of Interest series premiere, ABC aired the return of Grey’s Anatomy and NBC had the season premieres of The Office and the new comedy Whitney. Of course, some of the biggest competition came from The X Factor on Fox.
We will have to wait and see how this works out for The Secret Circle and The Vampire Diaries with the extra competition seen in these slots.
The Secret Circle Pilot aired right after the Vampire Diaries on Thursday the 15th of September on the CW. ew.com have the rating figures and they are good for The Secret Circle.
The Secret Circle was almost able to retain the lead in from the Vampire Diaries audience at 3 million. Although it didn’t perform as well as Nikita did in the exact same time slot it did outperform Ringer which is also a new pilot for the CW. Hopefully, The Secret Circle can hold on to this audience which will give it a healthy chance to be picked up for a second season.
