The Secret Circle TV Show is based on a series of novels from the renowned author L.J. Smith, who also wrote The Vampire Diaries.
The Secret Circle is coming to the CW on the 15th of September 2011. It will air in the time slot directly after the Vampire Diaries as it is the perfect companion piece for all the fans of the Vampire Diaries. According to Producer Kevin Williamson will be no crossover between the two shows as the mythologies are completely different.
The Secret Circle is about a teenager called Cassie Blake who suddenly finds out she is from a family of witches. A tragic accident happened in the town 16 years ago. No one will tell her what really happened back then so Cassie doesn’t know who she can trust.
